Your first visit to Pure Prosthodontics will primarily involve a consultation to discuss your diagnosis and the possible treatment options. While it’s sometimes feasible to commence treatment during this initial consultation, more often, especially for those with intricate medical histories or comprehensive treatment plans, a preliminary evaluation is needed with the actual treatment scheduled for a subsequent visit.
To facilitate your consultation, please bring the following:
- Any referral slips and x-rays, if available.
- A current list of your medications.
- Completed insurance forms if you have medical or dental insurance, to expedite the processing of any claims.
NOTE: Patients under 18 years old need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the consultation.
Please inform our office if you have any significant medical conditions (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves/joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are taking specific medications (like heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).
Regarding X-Rays
If you have had x-rays taken by your dentist or physician, they can be forwarded to our office. If time does not permit, you are encouraged to retrieve them and bring them along to your appointment. Should there be a need for additional x-rays, they can be taken at our facility.
